New York City begins a universal pre-k program this year. Will Pittsburgh follow-suit? Our look at universal pre-k begins with an explanation of the basics of this educational program for early learners. The discussion begins with Michelle Figlar, executive director of the Pittsburgh Association for the Education of Young Children (PAEYC) and Bob McCall, co-director of the University of Pittsburgh Office of Child Development.
