The ABLE Act

The Achieving a Better Life Experience Act, also known as the ABLE Act has the potential to help people with disabilities live independently and work without fear of losing important benefits. US Senator Bob Casey is sponsoring the legislation and joins us along with Jillian Zacks, an estate attorney specializing in special needs planning, and a mother of 2 children on the autism spectrum.

Life with ALS

Larry Jacknin is a Pittsburgh man living with ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease as it is commonly known. He joins us to discuss what it is like to live with ALS and his hopes for the future. Merritt Spier, Executive Director of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the ALS Association, joins the conversation to discuss the latest ALS research.
