This Friday is 21+ night at Carnegie Science Center with the theme Back to the Future. Fun fact, did you know October 2015 was the time Marty goes to the future in the second movie? Come for food, drinks and learn some science. Also, WHY DON'T WE HAVE HOVERBOARDS YET?
Brew Cinema at the Hollywood Theater benefits American Heart Association and Hollywood Theater. Come down Friday night and enjoy brews and the show. Grist House will be there and you can get all of this with a $10 ticket price
Night of a 1,000 Andys at the Andy Warhol museum is on Saturday. Come dressed as Andy Warhol. Can you say profile pic? There will be a Studio 54 room in the basement of the Warhol as well. Come for drinks, hors d’oeuvres and free parking (first come, first serve).
Spirit is holding its very 1st Annual Psychedelic Monster Maze! It is an interactive maze where you “lose yourself in a heighten state of awareness.” Whoa. Enjoy the bar and attempt the maze. This runs through the 31st and is all ages up til 9pm. It is 21+ after.
Zombie Fest 2015 is Saturday, October 17th. Some zombies will be there. Obviously. Come to Riverfront Park in Millvale for vendors, food, live music and of course all things zombies. BRAINSSSSS!!!!!!!
Greenfield Bridge Fest is this Saturday. They are blowing up a bridge so… let’s party…before the traffic hell begins. There will be music, activities, food and more! Josh’s wife is leading a sunrise yoga class on the bridge so be sure to not miss out!
The Apple Whiskey Festival at Wigle Whiskey on Smallman Street is Saturday at 6pm. They are ready to release their 2015 Apple Whiskey. Join them for all things apple with apple bobbing, Johnny Appleseeds impersonators, fresh cider pressing and Apple Whiskey!
Garfield Community Farm Fall Festival is Sunday, October 18th outside The Livermore in East Liberty. Come for activities, local beers, homemade pies, and great food. All proceeds benefit Garfield Community Farm.
Last but certainly not least, is the Yelp Monster Mash on Oct. 28th from 8-10pm. Come for all things Halloween and 20+ vendors! There will be drinks, food, scary things, and it is all going down at The Mattress Factory. RSVP on Yelp.com. It’s free but they suggest a $10 donation to help support The Mattress Factory. Costumes are STRONGLY encouraged (don’t be that person).
