Pet owners are finding it harder to get appointments at area vet clinics and hospitals. The Western Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association says many clinics are working through a backlog of appointments that had to be put off during the height of the coronavirus pandemic. A local hospital recently had wait times as long as eight hours for patients who weren’t in critical condition.
