Position Overview
The 90.5 WESA General Assignment Multimedia Reporter produces thoughtful and compelling spot and feature-length reports for broadcast and for our online digital platforms. This position will occasionally serve as fill-in host for Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Weekend Edition. This is a one-year granted position with the hope of renewal in the second year.  This full-time exempt position reports to the News Director.

Position Overview
Airing each weekday, Essential Pittsburgh is 90.5 WESA’s locally produced program featuring community leaders and newsmakers in education, the arts, sciences, technology, business, healthcare, and government. The Assistant Producer is responsible for providing support in the production of Essential Pittsburgh content for all distribution platforms including daily broadcast, website, social media, content archives, and public events. This full-time exempt position reports to EP’s Producer, and performs many of that position’s duties in his/her absence.
