I'm Not Lazy. I'm Just On Energy-Saving Mode: Social Club July 29

Did you know nearly 42 percent of Americans don’t use their vacation days? We are constantly working and it’s hard to fit in some “me” time.  If you're feeling stressed at the office and need to wind down a bit, this week’s Social Club is for you. WESA’s Josh and Sarah and Yelp Pittsburgh’s Rachel are here to fill you in on all the weekend’s relaxing activities.

Yoga at the Heinz History Center is on Saturday. Yoga instructors will lead visitors through a 90-minute all levels flow. Once you're done, go enjoy a leisurely stroll through the History Center and the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum.

Want to keep the wellness going all day? Pittsburgh VegFest is this Saturday at Allegheny Commons Park. Enjoy vegan food, shopping, music and more all in support of numerous animal welfare organizations in Pittsburgh. People. There is going to be goodie bags. GOODIE BAGS. It starts at 11 a.m. and it's free!

It’s a known fact that some strong drinks can be the best medicine.* Take the edge off at Camp Wigle: Johnny Gin Release Party this Friday at Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse. Liquid nitrogen cocktails (Instagram it up) with the Carnegie Science Center will be on hand. Camp games with City of Play will be played. It will basically be awesome and take you back to the days of summer camp, when everything was relaxing and fun and you didn’t have a care in the world. Make us a friendship bracelet while you are there! The Johnny Gin will be there for sampling, enjoying and of course, taking home.

Working out is good for the soul. You always feel better after a good work out. OpenStreetsPGH is back on Sunday to bring you all the good feels. It will debut a new route from downtown to the North Side to the West End! Come down for car-free fun. Walk, run, bike, dance, shop and more!

You know how when you are "hangry" and it’s horrible and everything is the worst? You won’t have that problem at the Crosstown Cookout at the Mon Wharf Parking Lot on Sunday. Check out live spray paint art, live music, food and drink trucks and more. Hint hint, with the VIP tickets you get a swag bag.

This is a great weekend to go out and enjoy the city. You get two whole days off a week. Use them.

XOXO, Social Club
