90.5 WESA to Present Life of Learning Forum on April 28

What can schools do to engage students and keep them interested in learning? Join a panel of area high school students on April 28 as they discuss what has been successful and what hasn’t worked in their education, as well as their ideas for best practices.

How can teachers relay the real-world relevance of the material they are teaching? How can schools assess what students are learning? What is an ideal school climate and how do we get there? This forum will give students both on the panel and in the audience a chance to voice their ideas for future students.

This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited, so please pre-register to reserve a spot.

Panelists include Senque Little-Poole (Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy Senior), Alleah Rose (Pittsburgh Obama Academy Junior), Alex Popichak (Carlynton High School Senior), Jordyn Adams (Penn Hills High School Junior) and Amma Ababio (Pittsburgh Allderdice High School Senior).
