Countdown to the Gubernatorial Election

90.5 WESA

In two months Pennsylvanians will head to the polls. As the gubernatorial heads into its final phase, will Tom Corbett break the streak of PA governors serving a second term? And, what would a win by Democratic challenger Tom Wolf mean for the commonwealth? JohnMicek, opinion editor for the Penn Live website, talks about what we can expect in the upcoming campaign season.

Micek explains that while Wolf has a comfortable lead in the race, the election isn’t a foregone conclusion. The election season will include three debates between Wolf and Corbett: September 22 in Hershey, October 1 in Philadelphia, and October 8 at the studios of Pittsburgh’s WTAE-TV in Wilkinsburg.
