State Rep. Mike Fleck, Pennsylvania's first openly gay legislator, says he still will appear on the ballot in November's general election, even though he lost the Republican nomination in the primary. Transgender in Pittsburgh
This year's Pittsburgh Pride Week will have the most extensive spotlight on the transgender population so far. We'll talk with Jessica McGuinness, a former EMT who transitioned over the last ten years from male to female. Joining the conversation is Post-Gazette reporter Mike Fuoco who profiles six local transgender people for a series on the transgender population.
